Giorgio Caione and Stefano Cerutti, photographers with two different approaches to documentation, talk about their artistic exploration of the Caucasus. Giorgio, an artist, curator and writer, created the photobook She Dreamed of a Valley in the Caucasus, which offers a look at post-Soviet Armenia through images and poetry. Stefano, who creates content for magazines and websites, saw Armenia through the eyes of an enthusiastic traveler, enchanted by the sunny country. Together, the photo projects present two sides of the Caucasus region: full of color, but also sadness and melancholy.
