Italian photographer Giorgio Caione held a master class where everyone could create their own photo book from materials from their home archive: photographs, ephemerides, documents. Working with their memories, the participants built their own historical narratives - related to both the personal and the collective.
Creating a photo book is a process accessible to everyone, requiring minimal resources. Thus, Giorgio wanted to show that book publishing can occur independently of large institutions and develop as a horizontal practice that forms new communities.
